Dan Strecker is a member of Harris Beach Murtha’s Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation Practice Group and the Products Liability and Comprehensive General Liability Practice Group. He leads national coordinating counsel teams defending manufacturers against complicated toxic tort and product liability claims. Dan also handles environmental litigation in federal, state and local courts, including CERCLA actions. Dan’s practice additionally encompasses premises/general liability matters, Proposition 65 claims, complex commercial litigation, government compliance and white-collar defense/internal investigations. Dan’s work involves defective products, alleged catastrophic injuries, including burns, and alleged toxic injuries. He handles cases across the country involving dozens of parties and scientific evidence. Dan is experienced in litigating in specialized scientific fields, such as epidemiology, toxicology and hematology, and subject matter including PFAS, AFFF, benzene, chlorinated hydrocarbons and other substances.

Dan is chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Lawyer Assistance Committee and a member of the New York State Bar Association Lawyer Assistance Committee. Dan is also a member of the American Bar Association, where he is the chair-elect of the Toxic Torts and Environmental law Committee and past vice-chair for publications. Dan is also a member of the Defense Research Institute.
