Maria is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant who holds a Master of Business Administration and focuses on corporate law, business strategy, tax planning and estate and business succession planning. Admitted to practice in New York and Florida, she provides a diversified perspective to business owners, guiding them through complex legal landscapes to develop strategic plans that align with both their immediate priorities and long-term vision. Drawing from her extensive experience in business law, estate planning, tax law, asset protection and accounting, Maria takes a holistic innovative approach to planning and problem-solving.

Growing up in an entrepreneurial household enabled Maria to experience the challenges and rewards of business ownership. It instilled a firsthand understanding of the complexities business owners face, fueling her passion for providing strategic legal guidance that protects assets, optimizes tax efficiencies and ensures long-term sustainability, while reviewing the goals of the business owner from both the “top down” and “bottom up.” Her experience in law, accounting and business allows her to offer well-rounded solutions that integrate legal, financial and operational strategies seamlessly.

Maria previously worked for law firms in Syracuse and Washington, D.C. and for a large insurance organization in London. She also previously worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP and as Director of Process Improvement for a management services organization in the legal industry.

In addition to practicing law, Maria is an adjunct professor at Le Moyne College, Madden School of Business, where she teaches law and accounting classes. Maria is also deeply committed to community service and actively contributes her experience as a board member for various organizations, demonstrating her dedication to fostering meaningful impact.
