Jaime focuses her practice on the defense of complex product liability, commercial, and mass tort disputes, with particular emphasis on high-exposure catastrophic injury and property damage claims against manufacturers and distributors of commercial and consumer products and equipment, as well as stakeholders in the food and beverage industry.

She routinely defends high-stakes litigations against entities in the supply chain for retail and consumer goods, construction and industrial products and equipment, personal protective equipment, automotive products, plastics and phenolic molding compounds, asbestos and cosmetic talcum powder claims, and drugs such as Diethylstilbestrol (DES).  Further, Jaime helps clients with crisis management response by documenting incident scenes, corresponding with government investigations, and defending resulting litigation.

In addition, Jaime counsels food and beverage, retail, and manufacturing clients on issues impacting their businesses, particularly those involving compliance with regulatory requirements from the Federal Trade Commission, Food and Drug Administration, and other government agencies; she is well-versed in responding to sensitive requests for information from governmental and private consumer protection entities.  Jaime has broad experience in advising these companies on compliance with safety, advertising, and telemarketing regulations, with a focus on avoiding and defending future litigation.  She also regularly assists clients with development of labels, package inserts, website and social media content and disclaimers, internal marketing, training, and record-keeping practices; initiating recalls; and preserving evidence.

Further, Jaime advises clients on products liability issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
