Laura’s civil litigation practice concentrates on defending professional liability claims. She represents lawyers, accountants, engineers and design professionals in a variety of matters, including defense of malpractice claims and disciplinary proceedings. In 2026, she won her first case in the Appeals Court, successfully defending her client against a legal malpractice claim.
Prior to joining Harris Beach Murtha, Laura split her practice between civil litigation and criminal defense cases.
While at Boston University School of Law, Laura practiced as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic and interned with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. She also served as an Articles Editor on the American Journal of Law and Medicine.
