Melanie is co-managing partner of our Buffalo office. She assists purchasers, sellers, governmental and quasi-governmental agencies with challenging development projects, and has developed extensive experience in real property and title-related issues in the renewable energy sector in New York. In addition, she serves as examining counsel for two national title insurance companies and represents various community-based and national lenders in commercial real estate lending transactions.
Melanie has developed extensive experience in property-related issues in the emerging renewable energy sector in New York. She has conducted due diligence reviews on several solar and wind farm developments on behalf of purchasers, developers and lenders related to the sale, purchase or financing of renewable energy projects. Melanie also serves as counsel to a local water authority in connection with certain real property and environmental matters.
