Barry is chief operating officer at Harris Beach Murtha, directing all of the business and administrative operations throughout the firm.  He works with the firm’s Management Committee to advance the firm’s strategic goals and growth initiatives and is responsible for the firm’s mergers and lateral hires.

Barry oversees the firm’s operations for all offices, including purchasing, facilities, information technology and human resources.  In his role, he provides administrative and operational support and direction in merging other firms and attorneys with Harris Beach Murtha and fully integrating those attorneys into the firm’s culture.

Before joining Harris Beach Murtha, Barry served as chief department executive for the national law firm of LeClairRyan, where he managed all administrative functions and led merger and lateral growth efforts. Prior to that, he served as controller at a regional law firm in Virginia.

Education

Barry received his Bachelor of Science in accounting and business from Elon College.
