Brandon is a member of a team that assists municipalities and local agencies throughout New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut, handling an unusually broad and unique range of legal issues and providing creative solutions to legal, fiscal, operational and economic challenges.

Brandon regularly addresses matters such as zoning and land use; responsible and efficient governance; effective policies; fiscal responsibility and municipal financing; adherence to local, state and federal regulations; environmental law; economic development, procurement, capital projects, and municipal financing; water and sewer matters; state and federal litigation; contract review; legislative issues; renewable energy; personnel issues; tax and pension matters; real estate; communications and utilities; and real property tax assessment matters.

Brandon also has experience with appeals, bankruptcy and debtors’ rights, commercial litigation, cannabis litigation, foreclosure defense, landlord/tenant matters, real estate and securities regulation.

He’s drafted multiple comprehensive motions both for summary judgment and dismissal with memorandum of laws, appellate briefs, commercial arbitration briefs, complaints, bankruptcy motions, motions of judgment, settlement stipulations and discovery motions. He’s settled millions of dollars in cases for public investor clients.

Prior to receiving his law degree, Brandon worked as a legal intern for both the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings and the New York State Division of Human Rights, handling a variety of issues facing city and state governments. Before that, he was a paralegal at both a New York law firm and a nationwide business that handled process service, land abstract and full-service title and closing.
