Lynn’s practice is centered on commercial real estate. She counsels clients across the full range of transactional matters, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, finance and development. With three decades of experience, she advises some of the leading commercial real estate developers and investors both in the Hartford area and nationwide. She also counsels small, family-owned and large-scale companies, public and private lenders and manufacturers, guiding them through the negotiation and structuring issues that arise at each stage of a deal. She is known for practical, detail-oriented counsel that keeps transactions moving from initial terms through closing.
Lynn's practice extends to representing lending institutions and borrowers in loan financing transactions. Her clients rely on her experience on both sides of the table, which informs how she structures, negotiates and closes deals. She also counsels closely held limited liability companies on general business matters. In this role, she serves many of these clients as a trusted advisor on general operational and structural issues, from entity formation to ownership and governance.
Across these different types of engagements, Lynn's clients rely on her ability to translate complex financing and structuring decisions into practical next steps for the business itself, whether that business is a national developer or a closely held family company. She’s known and respected for her ability to analyze intricate, high-stakes factors and present clients with the information they need to make informed, strategic business decisions.
Lynn's longtime involvement with the Real Estate Finance Association reflects her ongoing focus on the financing side of commercial real estate, as well as keeping her attuned to the market and lending trends shaping her clients' deals.
Before joining Harris Beach Murtha, Lynn was a founding partner at Consoli Bortolan Law Group, where she built a commercial real estate and business transactions practice over three decades alongside fellow founding partner Scott Consoli, representing developers, lenders and closely held companies across Connecticut and beyond.
