Colin represents clients across the real estate, insurance, financial services and professional services industries, drawing on more than a decade of commercial litigation experience to resolve disputes efficiently and litigate effectively when necessary. He handles a broad range of complex matters, including contract actions, business torts and claims under the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act (G.L. c. 93A).

Colin’s insurance practice includes litigating coverage disputes, bad faith claims and broker liability matters on behalf of insurers, brokerages and policyholders. On the real estate side, he represents owners, developers and investors in high-stakes commercial disputes, including serving as lead trial counsel in a two-week, multi-million-dollar case in Middlesex County Superior Court. His background also includes representing national lenders and loan servicers in consumer finance litigation, as well as advising clients on data privacy and breach response matters.

Before joining Harris Beach Murtha, Colin practiced at Colin practiced at major national and regional firms, where he built a similar commercial litigation practice serving businesses, financial institutions and individual clients. Earlier in his career, he worked as an investigator for the Office of Bar Counsel and as a financial investigator with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
