Business and community leaders on Long Island discussed three significant development projects poised to transform the Town of Islip over the next several years – and each of the projects is benefitting from legal counsel provided by attorneys in our Long Island office.

The discussion of the Midway Crossing project, development of a new Patient Care Pavilion at Good Samaritan Hospital Center and expansion of Jake’s 58 Casino took place at this week’s Hauppauge Industrial Association-LI Conference in Ronkonkoma, according to an article in Newsday.

Harris Beach is providing land use, economic development, transactional and regulatory counsel across the three projects, which in total involve more than $3.5 billion in investment in the Islip community. Handling these projects are Partners Tom Garry and John Anzalone of our Long Island office.

Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter told the audience that the projects reflect the town’s strategy to pursue projects that can be done “in a reasonable, sustainable way (that) the community can embrace.”
