Harris Beach Partner William M. Flynn was recently named to City & State’s inaugural Trailblazers in Clean Energy list, while Harris Beach Partner John T. McManus was named to the PoliticsNY & amNY Metro 2024 Power Players in Climate, Energy & Sustainability list.

PoliticsNY & amNY Metro published John’s responses to a list of questions about his work in the energy and environment space. John shared some of the cutting-edge projects the firm’s Energy Industry Team is working on this year, the importance of staying current on regulatory changes in Energy law and more. John is Managing Partner of Harris Beach’s Capital Region offices in Albany and Saratoga Springs and a member of the firm’s Energy Industry Team. In his practice, John advises clients on a variety of legal and regulatory issues, specifically in the areas of utility and environmental law.

Bill, leader of the firm’s Energy Industry Team and Telecommunications and Media Industry Team, was recognized for bringing “an in-depth knowledge of New York’s regulatory and policy process related to energy, telecommunications and the environment to his role leading the energy industry practice at Harris Beach.

He was also called out for being a past chair of the state Public Service Commission and past president of the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority.
