New York City attorneys Peri Berger and Sarah DeAgostino published a product liability article, “Uncertain Liability Landscape for UV Disinfecting Device Manufacturers,” in the January issue of DRI’s For the Defense magazine – a publication designed for defense, insurance and corporate counsel. Their article covered that manufacturers of UV disinfecting devices are likely to see an increase in lawsuits and enforcement actions in the near future, and therefore must understand the practical limitations of UVC technology, as well as the manner in which federal agencies regulate these products, to minimize liability.
