Partner and Energy Industry Team leader Bill Flynn of our Capital Region offices is being recognized for his career of accomplishments in the energy and environment field. Bill was named today to the City & State Power 100 List for Energy and Environment. The list recognizes the most influential people in government, the energy industry, environmental advocacy and academia who shape policies on power generation, transmission, environmental protection and conservation.

Bill’s career includes time in both the public and private sector, and he is widely known for his experience in regulatory policies and legislation related to electricity, gas, water, cable television, and telecommunications services. Prior to joining Harris Beach, Bill served as Chairman of the New York State Public Service Commission and President of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) where he also served as vice president, treasurer, and secretary to the board of NYSERDA.
