Partner Terry Flynn of our Buffalo office, leader of our Government Compliance and Investigations team and formerly the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York, spoke to WIVB-Channel 4 in Buffalo about the FBI’s decision to search the Florida home of former President Trump. In an interview with anchor Jacquie Walker, Terry advised against speculating about what matters the search might be focused on or where it might lead. “It’s really hard for anyone to make assumptions one way or the other right now,” Terry said. As leader of our Government Compliance and Investigations team, Terry oversees attorneys who advise clients on reviews and investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, New York State Attorney General’s Office, District Attorney’s Offices and other federal and state regulatory bodies in areas such as corporate compliance, government ethics, and white collar crime. Terry was confirmed as U.S. Attorney in March 2006 and served until January 2009.
