It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our friend and colleague Dan Krisch.

Dan was not only a remarkable lawyer but a remarkable person – with his outstanding career in law only outshone by his devotion to his children.

Dan joined the firm in 2023 and was a partner in the Appellate, Business Litigation and Municipalities and Local Agencies practices based in the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office. He had more than two decades of experience resolving complex legal issues and argued hundreds of appeals. Dan was known for teaching moot court and appellate advocacy at the University of Connecticut School of Law and publishing a bi-weekly column in the Connecticut Law Tribune. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ellen Peters, former Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court.
