Attorneys and professional staff from our New York City and Long Island offices attended the 45th annual gala of the LGBT Bar Association Foundation of New York, held at Tribeca Rooftop in downtown Manhattan. The Foundation raises money to support charitable and educational activities such as pro bono legal clinics, LGBT Law Notes, a Law Student Career Fair, Judicial Fellowship Program and others. It also pursues initiatives to improve the administration of the law to ensure full equality for members of the LGBTQ community. During the gala, the Foundation also recognized individuals for their service to the LGBT community, including New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, who received the Community Vision Award.
