Harris Beach PLLC will be recognized with the Top Smart Growth Project for The Royal Blue in Mineola, at the June 28, 2023, Long Island Business News Real Estate, Architecture & Engineering Awards. The Royal Blue is a $45 million project that will include 54 units — six units would be considered affordable housing and rented at lower rates — located about a quarter mile from Mineola’s Long Island Rail Road Station. The apartments are part of a continuing trend toward “transit-oriented development” in Long Island towns and villages that provide residents easy access to LIRR stations.
