The New York Law Journal/Law.com recently interviewed Harris Beach Partner Tom Garry, highlighting his second time as counsel to President Biden’s re-election campaign. His work includes filing petitions on behalf of the President in all jurisdictions from Long Island to Buffalo, ensuring the President gains ballot access in New York for his November 2024 re-election bid.
“I’ve done this quite a number of years,” Tom told the Law Journal on Thursday, “and basically I work with the campaign, with the governor’s folks and with New York State Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs, to make sure we qualify President Biden for the ballot here in New York, as well as all his delegates in each congressional district.” He concluded, “As you can imagine, it takes a lot of work to put this into place throughout the state.”
