Newsday recently published an article highlighting one of Long Island’s major development projects breaking ground – a project shepherded to approval by Harris Beach Murtha Partner Jack Martins, with the help of Partners John Anzalone and Marco Silva.
Mineola developer Blue Communities recently kicked off construction on an apartment complex called Eden Blue. The $130 million mixed-use development will bring 172 luxury apartments to a six-story building near the village’s Long Island Rail Road station.
The building will include space expected to house a Village of Mineola Museum and the Mineola Athletic Association, a salt cave, cold plunge, steam room and sauna, indoor/outdoor rooftop pool and spa, fitness center, golf simulator and rooftop padel court, space for two restaurants and a rooftop beer garden. It includes more than 250 parking spaces.
Eden Blue should open in late 2028.
Jack, John and Marco are all members of the firm’s Real Estate Developers Industry Team, with Jack serving as co-leader. The group has been the legal architect to numerous Long Island development initiatives – from transit oriented, multifamily and mixed-use projects to innovative redevelopment concepts. The attorneys draw on deep experience in corporate and transactional law, land use, zoning and complex commercial litigation to assist developers with bringing projects to fruition.
