Attorneys Brendan Ewing and Christina Suits have joined the growing Harris Beach Wills, Trusts and Estates team, focused on advising clients statewide in developing and implementing innovative and customized solutions for the preservation, management and transfer of wealth to the next generation, as well as navigating the difficult medical, financial and legal decisions posed by aging.
Brendan, located in Harris Beach’s Rochester office, concentrates on estate planning and administration, business succession, and related tax analysis and planning matters. He counsels individuals on tax efficient wealth transfer and advises fiduciaries regarding their legal obligations in the context of trust and estate administration matters. In May 2021, Brendan received his LL.M. in taxation from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
Christina has over 16 years of experience administering estates and trusts, and focuses her practice on advising and assisting estate and trust fiduciaries and beneficiaries with these matters. Located in the Harris Beach Capital Region offices, Christina supports and supervises the firm’s experienced paralegals to guide their clients through related New York State Supreme Court and Surrogate’s Court proceedings, tax matters, accountings, the collection and transfer of assets, and the settlement of estates and trusts.
The two new attorneys join Myles Fischer, who started with the firm in 2020, as new members of the Wills, Trusts and Estates practice. Myles supports clients throughout New York and Florida in the areas of estate planning and administration, concentrating on tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.
