The Augustine Classical Academy High School Mock Trial Team recently won the Saratoga County competition – with a little help from three Harris Beach attorneys.

The team is now on to the regional competition. This is the second year in a row the team has won the county competition with Harris Beach serving as attorney advisors. Last year, it was one of eight state finalists out of approximately 400 competing schools.

Attorneys Elliott A. Hallak, Bradley M. Wanner, and Daniel R. LeCours have served as the attorney advisers for the team over the past two years.

Meanwhile, attorney Jessica Molinares Kalpakis recently participated in two moot court competitions as a judge, one a competition involving several Long Island schools at John F. Kennedy High School in the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District, and the other a national competition at Touro Law School in Central Islip.
