Hartford Business Journal and Metro Hartford Alliance recently published articles about the attorneys from Consoli Bortolan Law Group joining Harris Beach Murtha.

The Hartford Business Journal article noted Consoli Bortolan, founded in 2019, was a Hartford-based boutique firm that focused on commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, construction and permanent financing, development and tax credit financing, along with projects involving the Capital Region Development Authority and the City of Hartford.

“The firm has represented clients on Hartford-area housing and mixed-use developments, including the recent acquisition of the Stilts Building, 101 & 111 Pearl Street, 5 Constitution Plaza and Trumbull on the Park,” the article noted.

The article also quoted Nicholas W. Vitti Jr., co-leader of Harris Beach Murtha’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group, on why the attorneys were such a great fit for the firm. Founding partners Scott Consoli and Lynn Bortolan, along with associates Jeffrey Lounsbury and Ryan Humphrey and paralegals Cristhian Monroy and Matthew Campo, joined the firm.

“Connecticut’s public finance market works differently than New York’s, with fewer local entry points,” said Nicholas W. Vitti Jr., co-leader of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group. “A strong, developer-facing real estate practice like Consoli Bortolan’s is exactly how we grow our presence in the state. It’s a natural, strategic fit.”
