Harris Beach partners Alan Winchester, leader of our Cybersecurity Protection and Response Practice Group and Jared Kasschau of our Municipalities and Local Agencies Industry Team will present at the County Attorney’s Association of the State of New York (CAASNY) 2023 Annual Meeting on May 23.
Their presentation is titled, “Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection,” and will be eligible for CLE credit. Included among the topics Alan and Jared will present are the: types of information stored by municipalities, primary privacy risks to municipal systems, how to reduce risk and implement controls; incident response plans and the importance of tabletop drills.
CAASNY represents the interests of county attorneys in all 62 New York counties, as well as members of the New York City Corporate Counsel’s office.
