In the blink of an eye our economy was transformed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Health care is one of the industries feeling the most strain – not just from surging capacities and PPE shortages, but also reduced revenue at hospitals and medical practices, and myriad other issues.
One of the big challenges is the rapid speed at which the COVID-19 pandemic, and society’s response to it are changing. Recognizing that we’re all on information overflow, we wanted to take a moment and provide a roadmap to some of our key insights from the past month.
Recently, our attorneys spoke directly to health care practice professionals about some of the programs available to assist with economic recovery, such as Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), employee retention credit and payroll tax referral and the Public Health and Social Services Emergency Fund.
