On November 14, Vincent Merola, counsel in Murtha Cullina's Corporate, Privately Owned Businesses and Emerging Companies practices, and Destiny Bajonero, associate in the Business Law practice will provide an overview of the U.S. Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) to the Business Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
The program will address how this transformative federal legislation is anticipated to impact organizations, both domestically and worldwide, by requiring those entities which meet certain criteria under the CTA to disclose information regarding beneficial ownership.
Vin and Destiny will lead a discussion on the CTA’s reporting requirements, along with the benefits and implications this legislation is expected to have in the U.S. and abroad.
