Harris Beach Wills, Trusts and Estates Partner Judy Wagner will present at an upcoming Alzheimer’s Association educational program on the legal aspects of preparing for caregiving. A description of Judy’s session is below:

This program will explore some of the common caregiver tasks, provide resources to support you in your role as a caregiver, identify some of the major stressors involving caregiving and provide strategies on how to minimize, manage and prevent the stress of caregiving. This session will address important considerations for planning when caring for a loved one. It will provide important information for the protection of assets and excess income of the person you are caring for while maintaining eligibility for government benefits. It will also cover special challenges when planning with retirement benefits, and Medicaid Planning considerations.
