Immigration partner and chair Dana Bucin will be presenting at the Connecticut Small Business Development Center’s Webinar, “Navigating Entrepreneurship as an International Student: Visa and Financing” for students at UConn on September 29.
Dana will lead an interactive discussion and Q&A that will cover the following topics:

How the U.S. visa/immigration system works;

Visas for professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs;

Strategies for attracting startup financing; and
-
Balancing studying and working in the U.S. along with its legal considerations
Dana will also give tips on employer sponsorships, Green Card types and strategies and how to get on the path towards U.S. citizenship.
The webinar will be facilitated by Gregory Lewis, business advisor at the CTSBDC, who will provide an overview of entrepreneurship opportunities for international students in Connecticut.
