On July 24, Murtha’s Environmental and Energy practices chair, Bruce McDermott will participate in the Connecticut Power and Energy Society’s Webinar titled, “Changes at the CT Siting Council: What You Need to Know About Recent Legislation.”
The webinar will include a discussion centering on the CT Siting Council’s recent legislative changes that may impact transmission and generation siting in Connecticut. The other webinar panelists include Melanie Cole from the CT Siting Council and State Representatives Steve Stafstrom and Jonathan Steinberg. The co-moderators of the discussion will be Ken Baldwin and Jon Schaefer from Robinson+Cole.
Bruce’s practice includes energy, public utility, environmental and infrastructure law, litigation, transactional and regulatory representation and counseling. His recent energy experience includes negotiating and structuring all legal aspects of several electric power generation projects from the conceptual stage through completion including review of energy purchase agreements including a microgrid project.
